National Invitational: April 25-26, 2025

Join us for a prestigious and dynamic virtual competition on April 25–26, 2025. This is a unique opportunity for middle and high school students from across the nation to showcase their knowledge, critical thinking, and understanding of constitutional principles in simulated congressional hearings.

Annual National Invitational Awards

Awards will be presented to teams in the two categories: Unit and Top-3.

High School Top-3 Awards

Presented to the schools in the high school division with the highest cumulative scores during the competition.
2025 High School Award Winners
  • First Place: Central Catholic High School
  • Second Place: Western Albemarle High School

High School Unit Awards

Top-Performing Units in the High School Division
  • Central Catholic High School: Unit 3
  • Western Albemarle High School: Unit 2

Middle School Top-3 Awards

Presented to the three schools in the middle school division with the highest cumulative scores during the competition.
2025 Middle School Top-3 Winners
  • First Place: Nova Middle School
  • Second Place: Faith Lutheran Middle School - Team Maroon
  • Third Place: Faith Lutheran—Gold Team

Unit Awards

Presented to the schools achieving the highest cumulative scores, based on performance at the annual National Invitational, in each of the six units of the We the People: The Citizen & the Constitution textbook.

  • Unit 2 Winner: Henley Middle School, Crozet, VA
  • Unit 3 Winner: Fall Creek Junior High, Fishers, IN

  • Unit 6 Winner: Harvest Park Middle School, Pleasanton, CA
